Dear Reader,

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m author Amanda Cox. Before becoming an author and homeschool mom, I spent my days counseling families and individuals through life’s most challenging seasons. Those years taught me so much about the resilience of the human spirit and the courage it takes to make lasting life changes.

Now, I bring those same skills to the page. My stories feature flawed characters on a journey toward authentic growth and healing—a journey I hope you’ll experience for yourself as you read.

I’m honored to be the Christy-award winning author of The Edge of BelongingThe Secret Keepers of Old Depot GroceryHe Should Have Told the Bees, Between the Sound and Sea, and The Bitter End Birding Society. Learn more about each of my books here. My stories, often described as Christian women’s fiction, explore grief, identity, and redemption. With a bachelor’s degree in Bible and theology and a master’s in professional counseling, I aim to write books that resonate with both heart and soul.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me in the sanctuary of the great outdoors. I love the feeling of pen on paper and the sound of my children’s laughter. Exploring new places with my husband of 20 years is one of life’s greatest joys. And of course, I never turn down a good cup of coffee or a beautifully crafted story. Click here to get a peek at one of my favorite places I’ve ever explored.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. I hope my books offer a safe haven, a spark of hope, and a reminder that even in life’s stormiest moments, healing is always possible.

Warmly,
Amanda
